I have one to two Green Smoothies a day. I still want to take a mult vitamin and supplements. Can i add the pills to my blender? Any suggestions on quality vitamins and supplements?
Hi Jeff,
I don’t recommend adding pills to smoothies. Your blender might be able to blend up the pills but you’d be getting binders, fillers, gelatin and who knows what else was holding that pill together. I recommend a powdered or liquid supplement IF you are going to supplement. Garden of Life Vitamin Code vitamins are what we use. I like the Raw D3, Raw B12 and Tracy takes the Raw Iron.
Of course, my ultimate recommendation is to track your nutrients in a software such as Cron-O-Meter and see where your diet falls short. Then only supplement with those nutrients if food sources are not readily available.
Good luck!
