Tasty strawberry and coconut blend with orange and fresh greens to give you a delicious taste of tropical strawberry. This smoothie is an excellent source of calcium, vitamin A and vitamin C.

Strawberry Coconut Green Smoothie Recipe

  • Meat and 2 ounces of water from one young, Thai coconut
  • 1 and ½ cups whole organic strawberries
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 2 cups or handfuls of fresh, organic baby spinach (or other green)

Add all the ingredients except for the greens to your blender and hit the “pulse” button a few times. Next, add the rest of the greens and blend on high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy.

Modifications:

There are a few variations you can do with this smoothie. You can add another 2-4 ounces of coconut water and a whole banana for a thicker, sweeter smoothie. Instead of using orange, you can use a whole mango (pitted and peeled) and add just a little extra coconut water to reach the desired consistency.

This smoothie is low in fat already, but you could replace the coconut with banana.
