“I started drinking green smoothies on a regular basis in July 2012 [one month ago as of this writing]. I needed to lose weight and I wanted more energy. I was pre-diabetic and suffering from low thyroid.
I have shed 40 pounds so far (in one month), and I have tons of energy and stamina. I’m losing weight and gaining so much health for the first time in years. And this is after I tried almost every diet out there and failed.
My blood work results changed significantly. My blood sugar dropped from 169 to 94. My doctor is impressed and I no longer take pre-diabetes medication. My thyroid level is within normal range. My skin is clearing up and I feel great!

I move soooo much faster and I get a full nights rest. My overall being is great!
I drink 2-3, 16-ounce green smoothies per day in my Vitamix. My typical green smoothie recipe includes spinach, banana, strawberry, orange, cinnamon, chia seeds, flax seed and water. I fill my Vitamix, then pour the smoothie into mason jars and refrigerate. I drink them throughout the day.
My overall diet is vegan, whole food and plant-based. I juice and make smoothies as well.
