I originally started drinking green smoothies in early January 2012, because I noticed I had a lack of energy and I wanted to lose weight. Since then, I have lost 60 pounds. I am maintaining my weight loss, and my goal is to lose 25 more pounds.
Green smoothies have given me a lot of energy. Before I started drinking green smoothies, I didn’t want to walk even one mile. Now, I’m able to walk five miles and I run up to two miles every day. I love green smoothies!
I use your program to lose weight. I have found a lot of recipes that I like a lot and are easy to follow. I have also become aware of my diet. I no longer eat beef or pork. I eat a lot less sugar and carbs.
Every day I drink three green smoothies, each in an eight ounce glass. This is my typical smoothie recipe:
– 1 banana
– 1 cup of strawberries
– 1 carrot
– 1 tablespoon of flax seed
– 1 tablespoon of chia seed
– 1 cup of spinach
– 6 ounces of yogurt
My family has noticed my weight loss and how green smoothies have helped me, and have they have started to drink green smoothies too!
